![]() ![]() Rainmeter has tons of skins all over the internet which where created by a vast number of creators, The reason for this is because it is extremely versatile and has tons of utilities which range from system monitoring, audio visualization, audio player skins, time and date, wifi status, various launchers and docks, news feeds, etc just to name a few. luckily some software were developed to substitute windows theme modding and the best of them currently available and with the highest user base is Rainmeter. ![]() Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but I feel it's still worth mentioning.Ever since the release of Windows XP, windows customization and modding have experienced an ever-growing community of windows theme modders and skinners but unfortunately, the last two windows released (Windows 8-10) were not really modding friendly. I have also ran several virus sweeps to no avail, so why can't my laptop turn on without exploding every time?Įdit: I forgot to mention this whole ordeal started happening the moment after I did a windows update. The next suggestion I found online was to run a full hard drive test in DOS, and nothing came up there either. Turns out the fan was actually pretty dusty, (first time cleaning it) but this did not solve anything. My first thought was the fan is clogged up with dust and choking to death, so I dissected the computer and cleaned the fan with compressed air. This will all last for about 10 seconds or so and then everything is perfectly normal again. Alright, so for the past week and a half or so my Alienware 14 will boot up perfectly fine, but after about a minute or so of being on the fan will nearly explode from spinning up so loud, and I the computer completely locks up, no mouse movement or loading on any games/webpages. ![]()
